S.T.O.P A Mindfulness Exercise By Elisha Goldstien

S: Stop what you’re doing , get in a comfortable position.

T: Take a few deep breaths. Maybe in through the nose initially, and then out through the mouth. With each exhalation allow your body to relax a bit more.

O: Observe your body, notice if there’s tightness anywhere. Relax your muscles from head to toe. Observe how you’re feeling emotionally and physically right now.

P: Proceed, ask yourself “What’s most important for me to pay attention to right now?” Proceed with your answer. Always remember to acknowledge yourself for taking this time. This is a great act of self-care; take the final moment to acknowledge yourself for taking this time.
